Because of the particular conditions of the province of Kerman with respect to exportable products, Kerman Chamber of Commerce is one of the oldest in Iran. It goes back to the year 1286 (1927) when it was first established under the name of “Otaghe Tejarate Kerman” and under its first directors: Said Yahia moeeznzadeh, Moshir-o-Tojar, Haj Agha Mohsen Yazdi, Haj Ali Asghar Yazdi, Akund Molla Yoosef, Jaj Moeen-o-Tojar, Moaven-o-Tojar and Said Hashem Moeenzadeh in a rented place in Kerman it started fulfilling its duties.
During the following years many directors have taken charge of the chamber. At persent it is located at east end of “Boulevard Jomhori Islami” in it's own building under the name “Kerman Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines”.
